Resumen
Blockchain dlt en su aplicación de trazabilidad es una tecnología disruptiva que tiene el potencial de transformar la industria agroalimentaria, al abordar problemas de confianza y transparencia en la trazabilidad y calidad de los productos. A pesar de encontrarse en una etapa inicial de adopción, se espera un crecimiento continuo en su implementación. Los hallazgos contribuyen a una mejor comprensión de esta tecnología y su potencial para mejorar la reputación y competitividad del sector oleícola en una economía globalizada. Además, se destaca cómo las tecnologías de la información influyen en el ámbito empresarial, específicamente en las empresas del sector oleícola en Andalucía. Como caso de estudio, nos centramos en la marca “Maestros de Hojiblanca” de Deoleo, pionera en España, identificando oportunidades y desafíos en los sistemas de trazabilidad existentes.
