[EN] This study deals with the effect caused by the type of agricultural management and landscape simplification on the families of edaphic beetles, which due to their diversity can help implement measures for the conservation of olive groves. This study was carried out in 24 farms from 12 localities in various provinces of Andalusia by collecting beetles in pitfall traps. Coleoptera families, morphotypes and the frequency of the staphylinid Ocypus olens were examined. As a result, on the one hand, no effect of management or landscape simplification on the diversity of families, morphotypes and presence of O. olens was detected. On the other hand, the family taxonomic level seems to be more decisive in detecting the impacts of agricultural intensification on the composition of families, as opposed to the diversity of families; in this case they do not show significant differences due to possible losses of natural elements.
