As a result of the analysis, the use of religious material for narrative is verified, since it affects the evolution of the stories and the portrayal of the characters. On this matter, important divergences are observed between the books with an exacerbated religious feeling and those that are more moderate; the heterogeneity of chivalry literature is thus highlighted.
