Las emociones, influencia de la genética y del ambiente: epigenética en las emociones

Abstract

En la siguiente revisión abordaremos el estudio de la emoción con el objetivo de encontrar los últimos descubrimientos en el campo de la investigación con relación al aprendizaje y a la base genética de ésta. Así, lo primero que haremos será aclarar el término en sí y ver algunos aspectos que pueden ser de interés de cara a una mejor comprensión final del trabajo. Posteriormente nos adentraremos en el papel del ambiente (aprendizaje) y de la genética en el mundo de las emociones para así ver qué puede aportar cada uno. El trabajo culmina intentando no dar respuesta sobre cuál de los dos factores (aprendizaje versus genética) tiene más influencia en las emociones, sino intentando interrelacionar ambos conceptos a través del concepto de epigenética, que es la muestra perfecta de cómo ambiente y genes son inseparables y se influyen bidireccionalmente

The following review will cover the study of emotion in order to find the latest discoveries in the field of research in relation to learning and the genetic basis of this. So the first thing we will do will be to clarify the term itself and see some aspects that may be of interest with a better understanding of the work end. Later we will enter the role of the environment (learning) and genetics in the world of emotions to see what each one can contribute. The work culminates trying not to answer on which of the two factors (learning versus genetics) has more influence on emotions, but yes trying to interrelate both concepts through the concept of epigenetics, which is the perfect example of how environment and genes are inseparable and how this influence is bidirectional.
