Resumen
(ES)La imagen del dragón chino es uno de los símbolos más representativos de la cultura china.
Siempre representa la fuerza, sabiduría y suerte. Se puede decir que a lo largo de la historia de China,
la imagen del dragón aparece en la mayor parte del patrimonio cultural. Este trabajo radica en la
necesidad de comprender cómo se percibe y modifica en Occidente la imagen del dragón chino,
porque la imagen del dragón chino es muy diferente de la imagen del dragón en Occidente. Este
análisis no sólo revelará el proceso de intercambio cultural y sus posibles distorsiones, sino que
también contribuirá a una mejor comprensión y apreciación mutua entre diferentes culturas.
(EN)The image of the Chinese dragon is one of the most representative symbols of Chinese culture. It always represents strength, wisdom and luck. It can be said that throughout China's history, the image of the dragon appears in most of the cultural heritage. This work stems from the need to understand how the image of the Chinese dragon is perceived and modified in the West, because the image of the Chinese dragon is very different from the image of the dragon in the West. This analysis will not only reveal the process of cultural exchange and its possible distortions, but will also contribute to a better mutual understanding and appreciation between different cultures.
