In this Final Project we study the exile of Spanish republicans during the Civil War and Francoism (1936-1975). On one hand, it has investigated the actions of the receiving countries, who more exiles welcomed, from 1936 to 1975. On the other hand, the conditions of life in the places of the exiles have been analyzed. Finally, the activity of the help body of the Spanish Republican exiles has been examined, specifically the performance of two organizations that had a great relevance, firstly “ The Emigration Service of Spanish Republicans” (SERE) and in second position “The Assistance Board To the Spanish Republicans” (JARE).
