History of Ireland: Since the 12th century to the Process of Peace

Abstract

Historia de Irlanda: breve descripción del conflicto Anglo-Irlandés e Irlandés, desde sus orígenes en el siglo XII hasta el proceso de paz que se desarrolló en los años 90 y su culminación con el acuerdo de Belfast de 1998. En este proyecto se ha tratado de relatar de una forma clara y objetiva, consultando distintas fuentes, los principales acontecimientos y protagonistas de los hechos. Además se ha tratado de dotar al trabajo de un enfoque personal y algo más subjetivo al incluir dos entrevistas de habitantes de Belfast durante los años del conflicto.History of Ireland: a brief description of the Angl.-Irish and the Irish conflict since its beginning in the 12th century until the peace process which took place during the 90s and its final result: The Belfast Agreement in 1998. This project tries to give an objective account of the main events and personalities of the conflict. Furthermore, a personal approach has been provided as it includes a brief interview with two people who were living in Belfast during those years of the conflict.
