The teaching of History and the English language in Spain is the subject of much criticism due to the rote and impractical nature of its learning. Thus, this master's dissertation offers a didactic proposal built on a theoretical framework on CLIL, History didactics, project-based learning and service-learning, analysing their historical evolution and principles and identifying successful methodologies and support for students. The didactic proposal aims to connect the work of students in the classroom with the society that surrounds them with the general objective of developing their historical thinking, as well as their linguistic competence in English, their curiosity and their creativity. To this end, students will learn about the ancient Roman world from the work of three historical sources, iconographic, written and oral, related to the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Andelos, located in Navarre, Spain. To analyse each of the three historical sources, students will use and be exposed to a wide variety of linguistic challenges and historical analysis techniques.
