Recursos y servicios disponibles para hacer frente a la violencia de género en la provincia de Málaga

Abstract

La erradicación de la violencia de género es un reto al que constantemente nos enfrentamos. Para ello, es indispensable disponer de recursos y servicios para afrontarla, tanto para atender a personas afectadas, como para intervenir activamente en su prevención. En el presente trabajo, tras conocer los datos epidemiológicos, hacer un repaso por la historia evolutiva institucional de la violencia de género en el ámbito estatal y autonómico y resaltar la importancia de la profesión de Trabajo Social en esta lucha, se pretende realizar un estudio de los recursos y servicios existentes actualmente en la provincia de Málaga con los que las mujeres víctimas de violencia de género pueden contar para afrontar esta dura situaciónThe eradication of gender violence is a challenge that we constantly face. For this, it is essential to have resources and services to deal with it, both to care for affected people and to actively intervene in its prevention. In the present work, after knowing the epidemiological data, reviewing the institutional evolutionary history of gender violence in the state and regional spheres and highlighting the importance of the Social Work profession in this fight, it is intended to carry out a study of the resources and services currently existing in the province of Málaga that women victims of gender violence can count on to deal with this harsh situation
