TECHNO-CLIL AND STARS ORIENTATION. A DIDACTIC PROPOSAL FOR PRIMARY EDUCATION

Abstract

[ES]El presente Trabajo Fin de Máster es una propuesta didáctica en la que los alumnos de 5º de Educación Primaria realizan una investigación acerca de un hecho histórico, más concretamente, el descubrimiento de América por Cristóbal Colón. De este modo, estudian en profundidad la temática del universo y el mundo de la navegación, aprendiendo cómo los barcos se orientaban en la antigüedad mirando las estrellas. Para conseguir este objetivo, el docente incluye las nuevas tecnologías en AICLE, promoviendo un proceso de aprendizaje más duradero. Además, la propuesta didáctica es diseñada optando por una metodología globalizadora, de manera que se trabajan diferentes áreas de conocimiento a lo largo del proyecto. Asimismo, el rol de los estudiantes es proactivo y participativo, mientras que el docente actúa como orientador, resolviendo posibles dudas y ofreciéndoles retroalimentación positiva para fomentar su motivación y sus ganas de aprender.

[EN] This MA dissertation is a didactic proposal in which the students of 5th Primary Education conduct an investigation of a historical event, in this case, the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus. Thus, they study in-depth the topic of the universe and navigation, taking into account how the ships were oriented only by looking at the stars. But, to get this proposal, the teacher includes new technologies in CLIL lessons, promoting a more long-lasting learning process. In addition, the didactic proposal is designed taking into account a globalized methodology, in a way in which different subject areas are worked throughout a project. Also, the role of the students is proactive and participative, and the teacher acts as a guide to monitor them, solving possible doubts and giving them positive feedback to foster their motivation and desire to learn.
