EL CALENTAMIENTO GLOBAL, LA DESTRUCCIÓN DE LA NATURALEZA, LA PÉRDIDA DE LA BIODIVERSIDAD COMO INDICADORES DEL AUMENTO DE LAS PANDEMIAS

Abstract

La destrucción a gran escala de hábitats y de ecosistemas, la deforestación, la extinción masiva de especies y el comercio globalizado de animales salvajes son el motivo del surgimiento y propagación de enfermedades infecciosas que afectan a la humanidad. Algunos en forma de pandemia. como el actual COVID-19. El objetivo principal de este TFG es el de documentar cómo el calentamiento global, la destrucción de la naturaleza, la pérdida de la biodiversidad y la zoonosis, debido al capitalismo, han incrementado el riesgo de las pandemias, y cómo estas van a afectar a los seres humanos y la fauna. También, este trabajo propone desde la perspectiva ecofeminista, la ética del cuidado para llegar a la restauración de un nuevo mundo donde se respete a la naturaleza. Finalmente, es necesario definir medidas y establecer estrategias que, desde el trabajo social, mitiguen las consecuencias en los grupos más vulnerables derivadas de las pandemias

The large-scale destruction of habitats and ecosystems, deforestation, the mass extinction of species and the globalized trade in wild animals are the reason far the emergence and spread of infectious diseases that affect humanity. Sorne in the form of a pandemic, such as the current COVID-19. The main objective of this TFG is to document how global warming, the destruction of nature, the loss of biodiversity and zoonosis, due to capitalism, have increased the risk of pandemics, and how these are going to affect humans and wildlife. Also, this work propases from the ecofeminist perspective, the ethics of care to reach the restoration of a new world where nature is respected. Finally, it is necessary to define measures and establish strategies that, from social work, mitigate the consequences in the most vulnerable groups derived from pandemics
