REVISIÓN DE LAS TÉCNICAS DE DETERMINACIÓN DE ENERGÍA SUPERFICIAL DE UN SÓLIDO: APLICACIONES EN MATERIALES EN FORMA DE POLVO Y FIBROSOS.

Abstract

Se realiza una revisión de las técnicas de determinación de energía libre superficial de sólidos aportando posibles explicaciones a la incertidumbre de los resultados. En este trabajo se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica de datos de energía libre superficial, obtenida por distintos autores, de distintos sólidos y obtenidos con distintas técnicas, analizando su significado y la bondad de los resultados. Del análisis, concluimos que la aplicación de las distintas técnicas exige su conocimiento exhaustivo, que cuanto más laboriosa es la técnica mayor es la incertidumbre y la posibilidad de cometer errores, y que es esta la posible causa de la disparidad entre el valor de energía libre superficial asignado a un sólido cuando se usan técnicas distintas.

This work present a review of the techniques for determining surface free energy of solids, providing possible explanations to the uncertainty of the results in your determination. We analysed the results obtained by different authors, of different solids and obtained with different techniques. From the analysis, we conclude that the application of the different techniques requires their exhaustive knowledge, that the more laborious the technique, the greater the uncertainty and the possibility of making mistakes, and that this is the possible cause of the disparity between the value of free surface energy assigned to a solid when using different techniques.
