The environment is the reality in which you learn and about which you learn. Good citizen training leads to knowledge, valuation and conservation of the cultural heritage that is part of our environment. The fact of bringing students closer to the heritage of their local environment allows them to create their own identities to coexist in the society to which they belong, as well as to bring them culture about the social context in which they develop. Likewise, heritage allows us to know the historical period in which that heritage element was built. Boys and girls in the Early Childhood stage have the need to observe, discover, manipulate, so our role as teachers is to use active methodologies for the entire teaching-learning process of this subject. For this, I propose a proposal based on a didactic itinerary, in which its citadel and the time to which it belongs -the Middle Ages- works, thus promoting an approach to local heritage and its consequent citizen training.
