Análisis del impacto psicológico de la mastectomía en la mujer.

Abstract

El cáncer de mama es el tipo de cáncer más frecuente entre las mujeres. Aunque la medicina ha logrado importantes avances en el terreno del cáncer de mama, la extirpación quirúrgica de esta glándula se sigue realizando. Cuando esto ocurre, nos encontramos ante una mujer con problemas psicológicos. Por este motivo, se ha decidido llevar a cabo esta revisión bibliográfica narrativa, con la finalidad de recopilar de los estudios existentes sobre el cáncer de mama, la máxima información sobre las consecuencias que tiene la mastectomía en la vida de la mujer, haciendo hincapié en las repercusiones que causa tanto en su propia autopercepción como en el vínculo social y de pareja.

Breast cancer is the most frequent type of cancer between the women. Though the medicine has achieved important advances in the area of breast cancer, the surgical extirpation of this gland continues being realized. When this happens, we meet before a woman with psychological problems. For this motive, it has been decided to carry out this bibliographical narrative review, with the purpose of compiling of the existing studies on the cancer of breast, the maximum information about the consequences that the mastectomy has in the life of the woman, emphasizing in the repercussions that it causes both in his own autoperception and in the social link and of pair.
