Sinhogarismo. Derecho a una vivienda digna y adecuada. Aproximación desde el Trabajo Social

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene la finalidad de analizar el fenómeno del “sinhogarismo” desde la perspectiva de los derechos humanos. En primer lugar, se analizará la terminología y evolución del término para lograr una comprensión completa desde su origen y se examinarán las principales causas que originan esta situación, enfatizando en aquellos factores predominantes. Asimismo, se tendrá una aproximación de los derechos humanos, focalizando la vivienda como derecho fundamental en este contexto y se destacará la situación de extrema exclusión social que sufren las personas sin hogar, manifestándose este proceso a través de la discriminación y estigmatización hacia este colectivo. Finalmente, se adoptará un enfoque desde la perspectiva del Trabajo Social para llevar a cabo la intervención, dónde se examinarán diversos modelos de acción que pueden resultar efectivos, tanto a nivel individual como colectivo, para abordar la situación de las personas sin hogarThis research aims to analyse the phenomenon of "homelessness" from a human rights perspective. Firstly, the terminology and evolution of the term will be analysed in order to achieve a complete understanding of its origin, and the main causes that give rise to this situation will be examined, emphasising the predominant factors. It will also take a human rights approach, focusing on housing as a fundamental right in this context and will highlight the situation of extreme social exclusion suffered by homeless people, manifesting this process through discrimination and stigmatisation towards this group. Finally, an approach from a Social Work perspective will be adopted to carry out the intervention, where different models of action that can be effective, both individually and collectively, to address the situation of homeless people will be examined
