ESTUDIO EXPERIMENTAL DE SISTEMAS FLEXIBLES DE MEJORA AERODINÁMICA Y CAPTACIÓN DE ENERGÍA

Abstract

El presente TFM se centra en el desarrollo de sistemas flexibles de control aerodinámico traseros, implementados en cuerpos romos, y en el estudio de la dinámica acoplada de interacción fluido-estructura a regímenes turbulentos. En concreto, en el presente TFM se pretende analizar experimentalmente el impacto de la dinámica vibratoria de lamas de rigidez variable sobre los coeficientes de fuerza de un cilindro. Además, se desarrollan sistemas de captación de energía a través de piezoeléctricos para aprovechar la energía cinética de las propias lamas.

The research performed in this Master Degree Thesis has been focused on the development of flexible rear aerodynamic control systems implemented in blunt bodies and on the study of the coupled dynamics between flexible plates and flow at turbulent regimes. Particularly, we have analyzed experimentally the impact of the vibrating dynamics of plates of different flexural stiffness on force coefficients of a cylindrical cylinder. In addition, piezoelectric energy harvesting systems have been designed and analyzed to scavenge energy from the plates vibration.
