(EN) The way in which these attitudes used to be measured was by means of questionnaires whosevalidity may be altered by problems of social desirability. The main purpose of the study is to investigate implicit attitudes towards homonegativity. For the assessment of implicit attitudes, a computerised experimental task was designed using the Implicit Relational Assessment Procedure (IRAP). It assessed whether being homosexual is negative or positive, or being heterosexual is negative or positive. Two different IRAPs were used, one with images of female homosexual couples and the other with images of male homosexual couples. They also obtained data using questionnaires such as the Modern Homophobia Scale, the Brief Homonegativity Scale and a social desirability scale. The results indicate that there are differences between LGB and heterosexual subjects in both implicit and explicit attitudes.
