Abstract

A lo largo del presente trabajo se pretende realizar un estudio pormenorizado de la figura del escritor Gabriel García Márquez, conocer sus colecciones de cuentos y los elementos que los caracterizan como innovadores dentro de la historia de la literatura hispanoamericana. Pues son sus técnicas novedosas las que despiertan el interés en los lectores a nivel mundial ya que leer su maravillosa cuentística es descubrir la magia en la cotidianidad de nuestros días.The aim of this dissertation is to bring the figure of the writer Gabriel García Márquez under careful examination. By thoroughly reviewing his collection of stories, we will conduct a detailed inspection of the features that made them stand out as some of the most innovative narrative in the history of Latin American literature. We will look into the techniques that marvelled and engaged readers the world over, who discovered in his storytelling a way to single out the magic that lies in the ordinariness of our daily lives.
