Resumen
[ES] Las actuales posibilidades que ofrecen las tecnicas numericas de elementos finitos y los metodos de optimizacion estan llamando la atencion de investigadores e ingenieros. Este trabajo estudia las posibilidades reales de aplicacion al diseño mecanicco a traves del diseño y optimizacion del chasis de una motocicleta de competicion. Aplicando Optimizacion topologica se define la forma del chasis y finalmente mediante elementos finitos se analiza la validez de la solucion.
[EN] The current possibilities offered by numerical finite element techniques and optimization methods are attracting the attention of researchers and engineers. This work studies the real possibilities of application to the mechanical design through the design and optimization of the chassis of a competition motorcycle. Applying Topological Optimization defines the shape of the chassis and finally through finite elements the validity of the solution is analyzed.
