EL IMPACTO DE LA VIOLENCIA DE GÉNERO EN LOS MENORES. PROPUESTA DE INTERVENCIÓN DESDE EL TRABAJO SOCIAL

Abstract

La violencia de género es un problema que no sólo afecta a las mujeres víctimas, sino que también influye en los menores que conviven en los hogares en los que se produce. En la actualidad ha ido surgiendo estudios e investigaciones que dan denominado a estos menores, como víctimas invisibles de la violencia de género. Casi todas las áreas del menor se encuentran afectadas por este tipo de violencia, dando lugar a lo que algunos autores definen como maltrato infantil. Este tipo de maltrato infantil da origen a diversas consecuencias condicionantes en el desarrollo del menor. Es de gran importancia, minimizar los efectos que puede tener la violencia de género en los menores. También son imprescindible los recursos y servicios ofrecidos por el Sistema Público. Finalmente, este Trabajo Fin de Grado, presenta una propuesta de intervención orientada a los/as menores víctimas de violencia de género.

Gender-based violence is a problem that not only affects women victims, but also affects children living in the homes where it occurs. At present, studies and research have been emerging that call these minors invisible victims of gender violence. Almost all areas of the child are affected by this type of violence, resulting in what is known as child abuse. This type of child maltreatment gives rise to several conditioning consequences in the child's development. It is of great importance to minimize the effects of gender-based violence on minors. The resources and services offered by the Public System are also essential. Finally, this End-of-Grade Paper presents a proposal for intervention aimed at children who are victims of gender-based violence.
