Propuesta de musealización del antiguo hospital de San Juan de Dios, sede del instituto de estudios giennenses

Abstract

[ES]En la actualidad, el Antiguo Hospital de San Juan de Dios es la sede del Instituto de Estudios Giennenses, un centro de documentación e investigación sobre temas de la provincia de Jaén, el cual no solo custodia un gran fondo patrimonial no accesible a todo el público, sino que también se encuentra en un edificio de amplio interés histórico-artístico. Por ello, y debido a que nos encontramos en un momento histórico en el cual el patrimonio está siendo democratizado gracias a la difusión, es necesario que, tanto el edificio histórico como los fondos de la institución sean difundidos, adaptándose de forma satisfactoria al público con el objetivo de lograr el conocimiento y disfrute del mismo.

[EN]At present, the Antiguo Hospital de San Juan de Dios is the headquarters of the Instituto de Estudios Giennenses. It is a documentation and research center on issues in the province of Jaén, which safeguards a large patrimonial fund not accessible to the public and it is also housed in a building with artistic historical interest. For this reason, and because we are in a historical moment in which the heritage is being democratized thanks to the diffusion, it is necessary that both the historical building and the funds of the institution be disseminated, adapting in a satisfactory way to the public with to get the knowledge and enjoyment of it.
