Resumen
[ES]Gracias a los avances en ciencia, se siguen descubriendo más secretos acerca del
funcionamiento del cuerpo humano. Hace pocos años se descubrieron los
exosomas, un tipo de microvesícula, que se libera por las células al medio
extracelular. En un principio se creía que solo tenían función de eliminación de
sustancias, pero con el tiempo se ha descubierto que participan en muchos más
procesos fisiológicos (Comunicación intercelular, fuente de biomarcadores en
patologías, etc.). Este trabajo proporciona una visión particular y especifica de la
metodología y aplicaciones que poseen los exosomas urinarios como fuente de
biomarcadores en disfunciones renales y demuestra que el uso y análisis en clínica
de estos compuestos se está convirtiendo en una metodología muy recomendada
para el diagnostico de diferentes patologías renales.
[EN]Thanks to advances in science are still being discovered more secrets about the human body. Few years ago, exosomes were found, a kind of microvesicle, wich is released by cells to extracellular medium. At first, it was believed that only had substance removal function, but over time it has been discovered that they involved in many physiological processes (intercellular communication, source of biomarkers in diseases,etc).This work provide a particular and specifies view the methodology and applications that urinary exosomes have as a source of biomarkers in renal dysfunction and shows that use and analysis in clinical of these vesicles is becoming a highly recommended methodology for the kidney diseases diagnostic.
