Resumen
El presente estudio centra la atención en las competencias docentes del profesorado universitario del Grado de Educación Primaria de la Universidad de Jaén, a partir de los datos recogidos en una encuesta dirigida a los estudiantes de cuarto curso de esta titulación para conocer su opinión. El cuestionario fue respondido por una muestra de 137 estudiantes de una población de 252 y fue validado por ocho jueces expertos seleccionados de distintos Departamentos de la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación de esta Universidad. En primer lugar, el cuestionario que partía de 50 ítems se vio reducido a 41, tras comprobar la validez y fiabilidad del instrumento. Por último, se realizó un análisis descriptivo-inferencial que muestra tendencia positiva en la opinión de los estudiantes respecto a la preparación didáctica y compromiso docente del profesorado y presenta algunos aspectos de controversia en la ayuda y asesoramiento al estudiante.
The present study focuses on the teaching competencies of the university teachers of the Primary Education Degree at Jaen University based on the data collected in a survey aimed at the students of fourth year in this degree in order to know their opinion. The questionnaire was answered by a sample of 137 students from a population of 252 and was validated by eight expert judges selected from different Departments of the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences of this University. Firstly, the questionnaire starting from 50 items was reduced to 41 after checking the validity and reliability of the instrument. Finally, a descriptive-inferential analysis was carried out and shows a positive trend in the students´ opinion regarding the didactic preparation and teaching commitment of the teachers and presents some aspects of controversy in the help and student counseling.
