Abstract

[ES]Esta investigación explora el concepto de apropiacionismo, utilizando el poema de Rosalía de Castro “Dicen que no hablan las plantas, ni las fuentes, ni los pájaros” como letra para la creación de un estandard de jazz, musicalizando así el poema y culminando con la interpretación de la misma. En el proceso de recreación que se realiza en este trabajo se exploran los ritmos de la música de jazz y las armonías más utilizadas en este estilo para obra que se propone, utilizando como instrumento el contrabajo. Una vez compuesto el estandard, se ha realizado un análisis funcional, una descripción de las escalas utilizadas en el mismo y el análisis del poema.

Hay que destacar que, aunque no fuese el objetivo principal del trabajo, se ha considerado oportuno realizar un breve recorrido por el papel de las mujeres en las artes: la música y el jazz. Considero que una obra musical realizada por una mujer, por mí en este caso, partiendo del poema de una escritora, no puede obviar este hecho, por ello, no es casualidad el haber escogido la obra de Rosalía de Castro, ya que ha servido como punto de reflexión sobre la poca existencia de la mujer en todos los ámbitos culturales. [EN]This research explores the concept of appropriation, using the poem by Rosalía de Castro "They say that plants, nor fountains, nor birds do not speak" as a letter for the creation of a jazz standard, thus musicalizing the poem and culminating with the interpretation of it. In the recreation process that is carried out in this work, the rhythms of jazz music and the harmonies most used in this style for the proposed work are explored, using the double bass as an instrument. Once the standard has been composed, a functional analysis, a description of the scales used in it, and the analysis of the poem have been performed. It should be noted that, although it would not be the main objective of the work, it has been considered appropriate to take a brief tour of the role of women in the arts: music and jazz, consider that a musical work by a woman, by me In this case, based on the poem of a writer, you cannot ignore this fact, therefore, it is no accident to have chosen the work of Rosalia de Castro, since you have served as a point of reflection on the lack of existence of women in all cultural movements Therefore, in homage to all women, he carried out this work.
