[EN] In the height of the XXI century and with the major development that the scientific advances have brought, specifically, the ones concerning Chemistry, seems to be illogical to find that less students are enrolled in sciences degrees. Teachers face difficulties when teaching the subject because the students get lost with formulae, atoms, molecules and they struggle to identify what is essential for chemistry. This dissertation is based on the chemical reactions present in numerous situations of the daily life and it has been divided into two main blocks .The first one deals with the epistemological foundation and how the Chemistry has evolved throughout the history. The second one is focused on how to elaborate a didactic unit taught in the fourth year of Non-compulsory secondary education, where objectives, contents, methodology and evaluation are fulfilled.
