Menores en acogimiento residencial y familiar

Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo responde a una revisión bibliográfica sobre el contexto de los menores que se encuentran en situación de acogimiento residencial y familiar, los motivos por los que estos/as menores llegan a esta situación y cuáles son las afecciones que pueden llegar a producirse tanto a nivel emocional y afectivo como conductual. En esta revisión se mencionan también los diferentes tipos de acogimiento que encontramos a la hora de atender las necesidades de los/las menores en situación de riesgo o desamparo, conceptos que también se analizan en este texto. Además, se muestran las diferentes funciones del/la educador/a social en los centros residenciales de acogimiento y su importancia en estos.

[EN] This work responds to a bibliographic review on the context of children in residential and family foster care, the reasons why these children arrive in this situation and the emotional, affective and behavioral conditions that may occur. This review also mentions the different types of foster care that we find when attending to the needs of children at risk or in distress, concepts that are also analyzed in this text. In addition, the different functions of the social educator in residential care centers and their importance in these centers are shown.
