LA DISCRIMINACIÓN SALARIAL: UNA UNIDAD DIDÁCTICA PARA FORMACIÓN Y ORIENTACIÓN LABORAL

Resumen
[ES]En el presente Trabajo Fin de Máster (TFM) se propone una unidad didáctica para el módulo de
Formación y Orientación Laboral (FOL) titulada "El salario y el tiempo de trabajo". El trabajo
consta de dos grandes bloques. El primero de ellos consiste en una exhaustiva revisión de la
literatura en torno a las desigualdades en el mercado laboral, en general, y en torno a la brecha
salarial de género, en particular. En el segundo bloque se presenta la unidad didáctica para el
mencionado módulo donde se exponen los enfoques metodológicos y los aportes conceptuales
que la configuran.
Este trabajo parte de la necesidad de incorporar el análisis de las desigualdades entre hombres y
mujeres en el mercado laboral en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Las principales
aportaciones de esta unidad didáctica para la formación del alumnado son conocer los conceptos
básicos en torno al salario y el tiempo de trabajo y reflexionar sobre las brechas de género que
se producen en las distintas áreas del desempeño social. Construir un modelo educativo y de
sociedad basado en la efectiva igualdad supone un hecho fundamental para avanzar hacia el
desarrollo socioeconómico de nuestra sociedad.

[EN]In this Master's Thesis (TFM), a didactic unit is proposed for the Labor Training and Orientation (FOL) module entitled "Salary and working time". The work consists of two large blocks. The first is an exhaustive review of the literature regarding inequalities in the labor market, in general, and the gender pay gap, in particular. In the second block the didactic unit for the mentioned module is presented where the methodological approaches and the conceptual contributions that configure it are exposed. This work is based on the need to incorporate the analysis of inequalities between men and women in the labor market in the teaching-learning process. The main contributions of this didactic unit for the training of students are to know the basic concepts around salary and time and to reflect on the gender gaps that occur in the different areas of social performance. Building an educational and society model based on effective equality is a fundamental fact to move towards the socio-economic development of our society.
