Resumen
En este trabajo se desarrolla una propuesta didáctica para introducir al alumnado de Educación
Infantil en el concepto de evolución en el medio natural, utilizando como eje vertebrador, los
dinosaurios, ya que estos son un contenido muy llamativo y motivador para los niños.
En primer lugar, se realiza una revisión bibliográfica relativa a la importancia de enseñar Ciencias
de la Naturaleza y del docente en Educación Infantil y al concepto de dinosaurio, estableciendo
una definición de los mismos, destacando las características, cuando vivieron, los más
representativos o conocidos, su extinción y el concepto de fósil. Todo ello adaptado a la edad
del alumnado.
En segundo lugar, se desarrolla una unidad didáctica que, en ocho sesiones pretende que el
alumnado alcance los objetivos y competencias claves propuestos y sean capaces de aprender
de manera significativa los contenidos desarrollados, utilizando para ello una metodología
activa, participativa y motivadora
Para finalizar, se muestra una conclusión acerca del trabajo en general, recogiendo los resultados y
destacando la importancia de trabajar estos elementos primordiales con el alumnado
In this work, a didactic proposal to introduce Early Childhood Education students to the concept of evolution in the natural environment using dinosaurs as backbone, since these are very striking and motivating content for children, is developed. First, a bibliographic review regarding the importance of teaching Natural Sciences and the teacher herself in Early Childhood Education and to the concept of dinosaur, establishing a definition of them, highlighting their characteristics, when they lived, named the most representative or known, their extinction and the concept of fossil is carried out. All of this adapted to the age of the students. Secondly, a didactic unit that, in eight sessions, aims for students to achieve the proposed objectives and key competencies and to be able to learn the contents developed in a meaningful way, using an active, participatory and motivating methodology is developed. Finally, a conclusion about the work in general, collecting the results and highlighting the importance of working on these essential contents with the students is shown
