From a feminist and anti-speciesist perspective, it is argued that there is a relationship between gender violence and speciesist violence, and that both issues must therefore be included within the boundaries of feminism. The aim of this research is to reflect this relationship through a revised bibliography. Thus, the focus will be on analysing specific forms of violence in the spotlight, such as surrogacy, prostitution, the use of language, as well as the role of hegemonic masculinity and the instrumentalisation of domestic animals in gender violence. Throughout these issues, various authors will bring to light the fact that gender violence remains and manifests itself in very similar ways to speciesism, and that therefore, in order to effectively eliminate violence against women, the elimination of violence against all animals must also be worked on from within feminism itself. Keywords: gender violence, speciesist violence, women, non-human animals, anti-speciesist feminism
