Resumen
El presente trabajo recoge una revisión teórica que pretende indagar y profundizar en el fenómeno bullying, también conocido como acoso o violencia entre iguales. Se inicia con la definición del fenómeno, las características principales, tipología, importancia de los agentes que participan, así como el análisis de las consecuencias y las fases del fenómeno. Asimismo se consideran cuáles son los factores que propician el surgimiento de dicho fenómeno, se desarrolla el protocolo de actuación ante un posible caso de bullying y se expone un punto de prevención que es clave para enfrentarnos y erradicar este tipo de violencia en el contexto escolar. Igualmente se examina una nueva modalidad de bullying, el cyberbullying considerado el tipo acoso más ejercido en el ámbito de la escuela. Con esta revisión se proporcionaría una extensa base teórica y programas de prevención para hacer frente a esta realidad mundial.
The present elaboration introduces a theoretical review that aims to investigate and deepen the bullying phenomenon, also known as harassment or peer violence. It begins with the definition of phenomenon, the main characteristic, types, importance of the actors involved, as a well as the analysis of the consequences and the phases of the phenomenon. Likewise considered are the factors that propitiate the rise of this phenomenon, the action protocol is developed to a possible case of bullying and is exposed a point prevention that is key to confront and eradicate this type of violence in the school context. Equally, a new form of bullying is examined, cyberbullying, considered the type of harassment more exercised in the field of school. This review will provide an extensive theoretical base and prevention programs to face this global reality.
