Ansiedad a las matemáticas y el género

Abstract

(ES) En mi TFG analizo los diversos factores que influyen en la ansiedad matemática de los alumnos, haciendo especial hincapié en el factor género. Asimismo, se hace referencia a cómo afecta la ansiedad matemática al rendimiento y cómo influye la actitud en ésta. También, hago referencia cuál es el papel que juega la memoria de trabajo en la ansiedad matemática. Además, se analizan diferentes estudios, entre ellos, cómo influye la ansiedad matemática junto con el factor género en las elecciones vocacionales.

(EN) In my end-of-degree thesis I analyse the various factors that influence students' mathematical anxiety, with special emphasis on the gender factor. Also, reference is made to how mathematical anxiety affects performance and how attitude influences it. Additionally, I make reference to the role of working memory in mathematical anxiety. In addition, different studies are analysed, including the influence of mathematical anxiety together with the gender factor on vocational choices.
