[ES]El objetivo del presente Trabajo es el desarrollar una unidad didáctica acerca de la historia de la vida en la Tierra, para la asignatura de Biología y Geología de 1º de Bachillerato. Con ella se pretende que el alumnado adquiera conocimientos acerca de los hitos más importantes ocurridos a lo largo de la historia de la vida en el planeta, así como de las claves que ha usado la ciencia para su conocimiento. Para ello, se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica partiendo del estudio del registro fósil, hasta llegar a investigar acerca de si hoy día podríamos estar en medio de una extinción en masa. El diseño de la Unidad Didáctica se realizado seleccionando los contenidos más importantes para que el alumnado adquiera las competencias clave. Se ha seguido una metodología activa y motivadora mediante el diseño de diferentes actividades que contribuyen al aprendizaje por indagación.
[EN]The objective of the present Work is the development of a didactic unit about the history of life on Earth, for the Biology and Geology subject of 1st Baccalaureate. With it, it is intended that students acquire knowledge about the most important milestones that have occurred throughout the history of life on the planet, as well as the keys that science has used for its knowledge. For this, a bibliographic review has been carried out based on the study of the fossil record, until reaching an investigation about whether today we could be in the midst of a mass extinction. The design of the Didactic Unit was carried out selecting the most important contents for the students to acquire the key competences. An active and motivating methodology has been followed through the design of different activities that analyze learning by inquiry.
