Resumen
Este trabajo pretende conocer los conocimientos del alumnado sobre el área de Expresión Corporal. Comienza con una profunda fundamentación, así como analizando aquellos agentes que la engloban. Seguidamente he realizado una investigación, un estudio longitudinal, para saber si los conocimientos han sufrido modificaciones tras desarrollar una Unidad Didáctica relacionada con dicha área. Ésta intervención didáctica se plantea con el objetivo de ampliar la capacidad expresiva de los alumnos/as. Además, se realiza un análisis estadístico, del cual se observa que en Educación Primaria les motiva esta área, considerándola que no es un área enfocada exclusivamente al género femenino y que les gustaría que se incluyesen más actividades de este tipo en las clases de Educación Física. Finalmente, el profesorado debe concienciarse y hacer uso de ésta, dejando atrás el temor de enfrentarse a ella, no solo por la demanda sino por la importancia y la gran cantidad de valores que tiene para ellos/as.
This project’s objective is to find out the students’ knowledge about the area of Body Expression. It starts with a detailed pedagogical foundation and it follows with the factors influencing this area. Next, we have carried out a longitudinal study, in order to find out if there has been a change in the students’ knowledge after developing the didactic unit related to this area. This didactic intervention intends to improve students’ expression abilities. Moreover, we have developed a statistical analysis which reveals that they feel motivated by this area in Primary Education and that they do not regard it as exclusively aimed at females, thus they would like more activities of this kind to be included in the Physical Education classes. Finally, teachers must get aware of this and include activities related to this area, overcoming their possible fears to do so, not only because the students like it but also because it is important and transmits a great amount of values.
