ANÁLISIS, DISEÑO Y FABRICACIÓN DE PROTOTIPO DE LA MAQUINA DE VAPOR CORNISH

Abstract

El objeto de investigación de este trabajo parte de un estudio previo en el que se realiza una investigación sobre la revolución industrial en la provincia de Jaén. Esta investigación arroja luz sobre la que fue la primera máquina de vapor con óptimos resultados instalada en la provincia, la máquina de vapor Cornish. A partir de dicho trabajo se ha realizado un estudio más exhaustivo sobre esta maquinaria, su funcionamiento y sus partes más características, así como su ciclo termodinámico y un análisis mecánico a alguna de sus piezas más significativas.

The target of the present work arises from a previous study in which an investigation is carried out on the industrial revolution in the province of Jaén. This research sheds light on what was the first steam engine with optimal results installed in the province, the Cornish steam engine. From this work, a more exhaustive study was carried out on this machinery, its operation and its most characteristic parts, as well as its thermodynamic cycle and a mechanical analysis of some of its most significant parts.
