La discapacidad abordada desde la perspectiva de género es un campo de estudio reciente. La invisibilización de la mujer con discapacidad a lo largo de la historia se sigue manteniendo en la actualidad, siendo muchos de sus derechos vulnerados, lo que impide a la mujer con discapacidad desarrollar su ciudadanía plenamente. La identidad está integrada por distintas variables que la conforman, el género y la discapacidad constituyen los principales elementos de la discriminación multifactorial a la que se ven expuestas las mujeres con discapacidad. En esta revisión, se analizan los principales modelos de la diversidad funcional desde la antigüedad clásica hasta nuestros días. Asimismo, se consideran dos de los aspectos que presentan mayor invisibilidad como son la sexualidad y la violencia de género. Además se aportan algunas ideas sobre la importancia del Trabajo Social en este ámbito.

[EN] Disability approached from a gender perspective is a recent field study. The invisibility of women with disabilities throughout history continues today, with many of their rights violated, which prevents women with disabilities to develop their full citizenship. The identity consists of different variables that shape, gender and disability are the main elements of the multifactorial discrimination that women with disabilities are exposed. In this review, the main models of functional diversity are analyzed from classical antiquity to the present day. Furthermore, we consider two aspects which have greater invisibility such as sexuality and gender violence. Also some thoughts on the importance of social work in this field are given.
