Resumen
En 1918 se creará el Reino de los Serbios, Croatas y Eslovenos. Su primera etapa se caracterizará por su inestabilidad política. La 2o Guerra Mundial supuso un conflicto inter-étnico combinado con una guerra contra el invasor. El movimiento comunista liderado por el mariscal Tito terminara venciendo, y estableciendo un sistema comunista. A partir de la ruptura con la URRS empezara a desarrollar su singular modelo económico: el sistema autogestionario, y a nivel político tendera a la descentralización. Hasta finales de los 70 el modelo económico presentara altas tasas de crecimiento, y elevación del nivel de vida. Para la década de los 80, el país se encontrará ante una problemática crisis económica que hará disparar los sentimientos nacionalistas. Durante la década de los 90 de producirán las denominadas Guerras Yugoslavas. El resultado es la atomización en pequeñas republicas y su integración al bloque del capitalismo occidental.
In 1918 the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes will be created. Its first stage will be characterized by its political instability. The 2nd World War involved an inter-ethnic conflict combined with a war against the invader. The communist movement led by Marshal Tito will end up winning, and establishing a communist system. After the break with the URRS, it began to develop its unique economic model: the self-managed system, and at the political level it would tend to decentralization. Until the late 1970s, the economic model presented high growth rates and an increase in the standard of living. By the 1980s, the country will find itself in a problematic economic crisis that will trigger nationalist sentiments. During the 90's the so-called Yugoslav Wars will take place. The result is the atomization into small republics and their integration into the block of western capitalism.
