Ansiedad a las Matemáticas

Abstract

La ansiedad a las Matemáticas es uno de los trastornos que más sufren los alumnos con respecto a esta asignatura. Es un problema que se puede detectar en todas las etapas escolares pero que se da con mayor frecuencia en la etapa de Educación Primaria. Esta ansiedad se debe a múltiples causas como puede ser la influencia del profesor o debido a los propios padres del alumno. Además, existe una relación entre el rendimiento y la ansiedad y se puede diferenciar la ansiedad hacia las Matemáticas en hombres y mujeres. Otro de los aspectos importantes a tratar es como afecta a los alumnos el tener un profesor que padezca ansiedad hacia las Matemáticas. Por último, conoceremos las múltiples estrategias de intervención para poder paliar la ansiedad hacia las Matemáticas.

The anxiety to the Mathematics is one of the disorders that more the pupils suffer with regard to this subject. It is a problem that it is possible to detect in all the school stages but that one gives with major frequency in the stage of Primary Education. This anxiety owes to multiple reasons since it can be the influence of the teacher or due to the own parents of the pupil. In addition, a relation exists between the performance and the anxiety and it is possible to differentiate the anxiety towards the Mathematics in men and women. Other one of the important aspects to treat belongs like sympathetic on the pupils to have a teacher who suffers anxiety towards the Mathematics. Finally, we will know multiple strategies of intervention to be able to relieve the anxiety towards the Mathematics.
