[ES]El objetivo de este trabajo fue determinar las características psicológicas de los atletas amateur en función de los años de experiencia
y la modalidad de carrera y en función del género. Se seleccionaron 211 atletas (116 hombres y 94 mujeres) a los que se le administró
el cuestionario de Características Psicológicas Relacionadas con el Rendimiento Deportivo (CPRD). Los resultados mostraron que, en
los hombres con menos años de experiencia existe un mayor control del estrés y evaluación del rendimiento; mientras que, según
la modalidad, obtenían valores menores respecto a la cohesión de equipo. Respecto al género femenino, el grupo con menos años
de experiencia obtiene mejores valores en la evaluación del rendimiento; mientras que según la modalidad, es la distancia ultra la
que obtiene valores más bajos en el control de estrés. Estos resultados contribuyen a determinar el perfil psicológico de atletas
amateur.

[EN]The objective of this work was to determine the different psychological characteristics fromm amateur athletes according to their experience, kind of degree and relation of genre. We have done a non-experimental study in relation with 211 athletes, that is a non probabilistic sample composed of 116 men and 94 women. The questionnaire of psychological characteristics related with sport training (PCRST) has been used. The results showed that men with less years of experience have more control of the stress and training evaluation; as long as, depending on the model, they obtained lower values compared with the group cohesion. According the female genre , the group with less years of experienced had better values in training evaluation; whie according to the model, is the ultra distance the one which obtains less values in stress control. These results contribute to determine the psychological profile from amateur athletes. Physical activity, sport, adults.
