En este Trabajo Fin de Grado se pretende realizar un análisis de la ciudad de Jaén. Para ello, se van a utilizar dos variables estrechamente vinculadas. Una de ellas, la evolución histórico urbanística de la ciudad, y la otra, el crecimiento de la población. Se ha seleccionado como ámbito de estudio los nueve distritos de la ciudad en el periodo comprendido entre el 2002 y el 2018. La investigación del trabajo se enmarcará en una metodología cuantitativa, cualitativa y comparativa. Dicha metodología, nos servirá para llevar a cabo el análisis y resultados en los cuales podremos observar un crecimiento de la ciudad relacionado con el aumento de la población. Las conclusiones a las que podemos llegar son: Jaén ha experimentado un crecimiento significativo desde el punto de vista urbanístico y poblacional. No obstante, esta tendencia se ha alterado comenzando a disminuir su número de habitantes en los últimos años.
In this Final Degree Project we intend to carry out an analysis of the city of Jaén. For this, two closely related variables will be used. One of them, the historical urban development of the city, and the other, the growth of the population. The nine districts of the city in the period between 2002 and 2018 have been selected as the scope of study. The research of the work will be framed in a quantitative, qualitative and comparative methodology. This methodology will help us to carry out the analysis and results in which we can observe a growth of the city related to the increase in population. The conclusions we can reach are: Jaén has experienced significant growth from an urban and population point of view. However, this trend has been altered, its number of inhabitants beginning to decline in recent years.
