LA SOCIEDAD ECONÓMICA DE AMIGOS DEL PAÍS DE JAÉN , UN RECURSO DIDÁCTICO DE HOY

Abstract

[ES] Las Reales Sociedades Económicas de Amigos del País nacen como consecuencia del reformismo ilustrado español del siglo XVIII. En este trabajo, reflexionaremos sobre la creación y frutos que estas asociaciones lograron, y de cómo el hecho de que aún sigan hoy muchas de ellas activas, -como es el caso de la de Jaén-, puede ser utilizado como recurso didáctico y educativo, haciendo que el alumnado aprenda viviendo y descubriendo espacios históricos que unan el pasado con el presente.

[EN] The Royal Economic Societies of Friends of the Country were born as a consequence of the enlightened Spanish reformism of the 18th century. In this work, we will reflect on the creation and fruits that these associations achieved, and how the fact that many of them are still active today, -as is the case of Jaén-, can be used as a didactic and educational resource, making students learn by living and discovering historical spaces that unite the past with the present.
