Resumen
[ES] Una de las aplicaciones fundamentales de la Estadística es en el diseño de experimentos. Los modelos de diseño de experimentos son modelos estadísticos cuyo objetivo es averiguar si unos determinados factores influyen en una variable de interés y, si existe influencia de algún factor, cuantificar dicha influencia.
El objetivo de la utilización del diseño de experimentos se ha centrado en encontrar el mejor diseño de producto o servicio entre un conjunto de alternativas, utilizando algún criterio de evaluación como la compra, el uso o el valor percibido por el cliente. Este trabajo presenta las características del diseño de experimentos frente a otros instrumentos de investigación de mercados, describe su proceso, determina su mejor aplicación y pronostica las expectativas futuras.
A tal efecto, se ha llevado a cabo un experimento para detectar mediante un análisis factorial de la varianza los factores que afectan en la elección del destino de vacaciones de universitarios en verano.
[EN] One of the essential uses of Statistics is the design of experiments. Experimental design models are statistical models whose objective is to find out if certain factors influence a variable of interest and, if there is an influence of any factor, to quantify it. The main aim of using the Design of Experiments has focused on finding the best product or service design among a set of alternatives, using some evaluation criteria such as purchase, use or the value perceived by the customer. This project presents the different characteristics of the design of experiments compared to other market research instruments, describes its process, determines their best application and forecast future expectations. As a result of that, an experiment has been carried out to detect, by means of a factor analysis of variance, the factors that most affect the choise of summer holiday destination.
