LAS PERSONAS DISCAPACITADAS EN EL MERCADO DE TRABAJO ESPAÑOL

Abstract

(ES)La inserción social, laboral y la plena participación de las personas con discapacidad en la sociedad de forma general, ha presentado numerosas barreras respecto a la población sin discapacidad, por ello dicho colectivo se ha sentido discriminado, teniendo multitud de efectos negativos, tanto directos como indirectos que han recaído en la calidad y nivel de vida de las personas discapacitadas. Por tanto, su integración y participación en el mercado de trabajo español constituye un paso fundamental para su adecuada intervención social, siendo uno de los grandes retos para garantizar una igualdad de trato y oportunidades que el resto de la sociedad. De este modo, se considera importante realizar una investigación sobre la verdadera situación laboral de las personas discapacitadas y comprobar si están totalmente integrados o si, por el contrario, el avance se encuentra en un estado ralentizado, en el que existen grandes diferencias entre las personas con discapacidad y sin ella.

(EN)The social and labor insertion and full participation of people with disabilities in society, in general, has presented numerous barriers with respect to the population without disabilities, which is why this group has felt discriminated against, with a multitude of negative effects, both direct and indirect, that have affected the quality of life and standard of living of the disabled people. Therefore, their integration and participation in the Spanish labor market is a fundamental step for their adecuate social intervention, being one of the great challenges to ensure equal treatment and opportunities with the rest of society. In this way, it is considered important to carry out an investigation on the real laboral situation of disabilities people and to check if they are totally integrated or, on the contrary, if the progress is in a slowed state, in which there are great differences between people with and without disabilities.
