[ES] El uso del cómic en educación siempre ha tenido un papel secundario por considerarse un medio de entretenimiento. Sin embargo, hoy en día es considerado un género literario debido a sus características propias, las cuales aportan una serie de beneficios en el alumnado. Está demostrado que es un recurso idóneo para el desarrollo de la comprensión escrita, fundamental para el desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa en cualquier lengua extranjera. En este trabajo, vamos a estudiar la importancia del cómic como recurso didáctico para el desarrollo de la comprensión escrita en el aula de español como lengua extranjera, además de analizar algunos manuales para su aprendizaje donde el cómic está presente de distintas formas.
[EN] The use of the comic in education has always been considered a secondary aspect due to the widespread thought of being a medium for entertainment. Nonetheless, nowadays the comic is considered a literary genre by itself because of its own characteristics which provide different benefits on students. It has been displayed that the comic is an ideal resource for the development of written comprehension. This one is essential for the development of the communicative competence in any foreign language. In this project we are going to study the importance of the comic as a didactic resource for the development of the written comprehension in the Spanish as a foreign language classroom in addition to analyze some textbooks in which the comic is present in different ways.
