ASISTENCIA RELIGIOSA EN LAS FUERZAS ARMADAS

Abstract

[ES]Este trabajo pretende dar a conocer y acercar al ámbito universitario una institución que resulta muy importante para nuestro Estado de Derecho, como son las Fuerzas Armadas, desde el punto de vista del Derecho eclesiástico del Estado, que se ocupa de estudiar la asistencia religiosa al Ejército. El punto de partida es conocer los antecedentes históricos, el momento en el que nace esta asistencia a las Fuerzas Armadas por primera vez. A continuación se hace referencia a la regulación católica sobre esta materia, pues su presencia en el Ejército se remonta muy atrás en la Historia. Después se expone detalladamente como se realiza la asistencia religiosa a las Fuerzas Armadas en España, tanto por la religión católica como por otras confesiones minoritarias. Finalmente, se realiza un estudio de derecho comparado para examinar la presencia de esta figura en las Fuerzas Armadas de otros países.

[EN]This work tries to announce and to bring over to the university area an institution that turns out to be very important for our Constitutional state, since they are the Armed Forces, from the point of view of the ecclesiastic Law of the State, which is busy with studying the religious assistance to the Army. The point of item is to know the historical precedents, the moment in which this assistance is born to the Armed Forces for the first time. Later one refers to the catholic regulation on this matter, since his presence in the Army goes back very behind in the History. Later it is exposed detailed like the religious assistance is realized to the Armed Forces in Spain, both for the catholic religion and for other minority confessions. Finally, a study of right is realized compared to examine the presence of this figure in the Armed Forces of other countries.
