[ES] El presente trabajo de investigación describe las características de la novela de institutriz en la que el análisis de los antecedentes históricos de la Inglaterra Victoriana, el papel de la mujer en la sociedad, así como la distinción de las diferentes clases sociales, resultan fundamentales para ahondar en las claves de la novela de institutriz como género literario.[EN] The present dissertation is a research on the characteristics of the governess novel, in which the analysis of the historical background of Victorian England, the role of women in society and the distinction of different social classes, are essential to delve into the key features of the governess novel as a literary genre.
