Desarrollo local y automoción en Valencia

Abstract

[ES]El presente trabajo está basado en la industria del automovil en España, tomando como referencia la fábrica Ford en Almusafes (Valencia) y otros datos del sector global. Principalmente el objetivo del trabajo ha sido demostrar cómo influye la industria de un territorio sobre el empleo en esa región. En los últimos años todos los sectores de la economía se han visto fuertemente condicionados por la situación económica financiera, de esta manera el sector del automóvil también ha estado condicionado por los cambios del entorno y ha tenido que buscar nuevas soluciones para ir adaptándose a los retos que han ido surgiendo en el sector. La elaboración del trabajo trata de plasmar los datos más relevantes de los últimos años y los programas que se han llevado a cabo tanto por el gobierno como por las agencias de desarrollo local para motivar el funcionamiento del sector de la automoción.

[EN]This work is based on the automobile industry in Spain, with reference to the Ford factory in Almussafes (Valencia) and other data of the global sector. Mainly, the aim of the work has been to demonstrate how industry influences on a territory regarding the employment in the region. In recent years all sectors of the economy have been strongly influenced by the economic and financial situation, in this way the automobile sector has also been influenced by changes in the environment and has had to find new solutions for adapting to the challenges that have emerged in the sector. The development of the work tries to demonstrate the most relevant data of recent years and the programs have been carried out both by the government and local development agencies to encourage the operation of the automobile sector.
