Un diseño de caso único: entrenamiento en memoria y relajación dirigido a un paciente con Fibromialgia

[ES]En este estudio se analiza el efecto de un programa de entrenamiento en memoria y relajación
en una paciente diagnosticada de Fibromialgia. Dicho programa consiste en ocho sesiones que
incluyen una parte teórica y otra práctica. En la parte teórica, se explica el concepto de
memoria y los tipos asociados. En la parte práctica, se trabaja la técnica de relajación y la
realización de actividades para ejercitar la memoria. La evaluación inicial consistió en dos
sesiones, en la primera se realizó una entrevista clínica y en la segunda se administraron siete
cuestionarios, los cuales se volvieron a administrar una vez finalizado el programa. Se realizó
un análisis visual y estadístico de los datos. En cuanto al análisis visual, se observaron
mejoras en el estado de la memoria y en algunas variables del estado de salud general.
Respecto al análisis estadístico, se encontraron diferencias significativas entre la media de la
pre-intervención y post-intervención en la variable número de palabras recordadas (estado de
la memoria).
[EN]This study analyses the effect of a memory-training and relaxation program on a patient diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Such program consists of eight sessions with a theoretical and a practical part each. The theoretical part explains the concept of memory and the associated types. The practical part works the relaxation technique and carries out activities to exercise memory. The initial assessment consisted of two sessions. In the first session, a clinic interview was held, and in the second session seven questionnaires were administrated, and they were again administrated once the program was complete. A visual and a statistical data analysis were carried out. Regarding the visual analysis, improvements in the memory status and in some general health status variables were observed. In respect of the statistical analysis, significant differences between the pre-intervention and post-intervention average in the variable number of words remembered (memory status).
