La competitividad turística en los espacios naturales de especial protección: una propuesta de planificación para la reserva de la biosfera de los ancares leoneses

Resumen
La OMT define al turismo sostenible como aquél que “tiene plenamente en cuenta las repercusiones actuales y futuras, económicas, sociales y ambientales para satisfacer las necesidades de los visitantes, de la industria, del entorno y de las comunidades anfitrionas”. Mientras, la UNESCO dice de las Reservas de la Biosfera que son “lugares de aprendizaje para el desarrollo sostenible”. Es por este motivo que la Reserva de la Biosfera de Los Ancares Leoneses (RBALE) es el escenario perfecto para llevar a cabo esta investigación. El trabajo busca incrementar la competitividad turística del territorio. Para ello se ha llevado a cabo una investigación de metodología mixta, distinguiendo entre dos fases principales: la recolección de datos y las entrevistas a diferentes actores del territorio. El plan estratégico que ha resultado aporta una perspectiva completa de la zona que le permitiría desarrollarse en torno al turismo. Además, se espera que sirva como modelo para futuras iniciativas en este o en cualquier otro territorio.

Meanwhile, UNESCO says of Biosphere Reserves that they are "learning places for sustainable development". It is for this reason that the Biosphere Reserve of Los Ancares Leoneses (RBALE) is the perfect setting to carry out this research. The work seeks to increase the tourism competitiveness of the territory.
