La demanda de oleoturismo en la provincia de Jaén

Abstract

[ES]El oleoturismo es un tipo de turismo relativamente joven, que se encuentra en auge, abriéndose paso como alternativa al turismo tradicional. Se trata de actividades relacionadas con el mundo del olivar. En este estudio se hablará de las distintas modalidades de oleoturismo que se pueden realizar, las rutas existentes de oleoturismo en la provincia de Jaén y se mostrarán los resultados de un análisis realizado a visitantes de almazaras en la provincia de Jaén. Dicho análisis se realiza desde la perspectiva de la demanda, con la intención de aportar nuevo conocimiento a la escasa bibliografía existente. El principal objetivo es identificar y valorar los factores que mueven al oleoturista practicar esta modalidad de turismo y así diseñar un perfil válido para este tipo de turistas.

[EN]The oleotourism is a type of tourism relatively young, which is growing up so fast as an alternative to traditional tourism. This kind of tourism is about activities related with the world of the olive trees. In this study I will talk about the different types of oleotourism that can be realized as well as the oleotourism routes that you can find in Jaén. Also, it will be shown the results of the analysis done to people who visited “almazaras” in Jaén. The analysis has been done from a demand perspective, with the intention of bring some new knowledge to the lack of studies that have been done at the present. The main objective is to identify and evaluate the factors that encourage people to do oleotourism and by this way design a formal profile of this kind of tourists.
