Bases neuroanatómicas del humor

Abstract

El humor es una importante actividad cognitiva capaz de producir efectos positivos a nivel psicológico y fisiológico. Por ello, numerosos estudios se han centrado en la localización neuroanatómica del mismo. En el presente Trabajo Fin de Grado se lleva a cabo una revisión de las investigaciones acerca de las bases neuroanatómicas del humor a través de una búsqueda en las bases de datos: PsycInfo, PubMed, PsycArticles y Scopus. La búsqueda proporcionó un resultado de 15 artículos que mostraron que la implicación del córtex prefrontal, el giro frontal inferior y la unión temporo-parietal en la percepción del humor eran realmente importantes en la integración de información del proceso de comprensión-resolución del humor. Por otro lado, las áreas relacionadas con la sensación de recompensa y la experimentación de humor que se apreciaron fueron la corteza prefrontal ventro-medial, el giro parahipocampal y la amígdala.

The humor is an important cognitive activity that may produce positive effects on a psychological and physiological level. Therefore, there are numerous studies focused on the neuroanatomic localization of the humor. In the present work is carried out a review of the investigations on the neuroanatomical bases of the humor through a search in the data bases: PsycInfo, PubMed, PsycArticles and Scopus. The search provided as result 15 articles that showed that the involvement of the prefrontal cortex, the inferior frontal gyrus and the temporo-parietal union in the perception of the humor were really important in the integration of information of the process of understanding-resolution of the humor. On the other hand, the areas related to the reward and the experimentation of humor were the prefrontal cortex ventro-medial, the parahippocampal gyrus and the amygdala.
